Literacy |
We are going to do some work around day time and night time this week. Watch Owl Babies below. Can you create a picture of mummy owl and her 3 babies? You could draw, paint or collage them.
|
Watch Owl Babies again. Can you talk to a grown-up about how the owls were feeling at different parts of the story? Can you draw a picture of what you might look like if you are happy, sad, worried and cross?
|
Owls are nocturnal. Can you find out what nocturnal means? Can you find out any other animals that are nocturnal? |
Can you remember what happened in the Owl Babies story? Can you draw a story map and tell a grown-up the whole story? Can you use different voices for the owls, especially Bill the baby owl? |
Can you make a poster all about owls? You could draw an owl and then write some short sentences about it (It eats mice, it is a bird, it can fly – or you could write some of your own). There is a Word Mat below to help you. |
