Home Learning January 2021

1/3/21

Wow! It's March! This is the last week of home learning before we all come back to our bubbles next week. I am so looking forward to seeing you all together again. We are working again on the Wizard pack that we started last week. I know that you have really enjoyed it. Don't forget - Thursday is World Book Day and, if you want to, you can dress as a witch or a wizard (whether you are at home or at school.) Have a great week and I will see you on Monday 8th March at 9.00am.

Remember to log onto the Year 5 or Year 6 home learning plan, so that you know what to do each day.

- Home learning will be set in the same way.

- Plans will be uploaded on a Sunday.

- There will be a list of resources in the order that you need them so that you can open them.

- We will have live lessons. Some of these will be with me and some of them might be with Mrs Tomlinson or Mr Moore for Maths - make sure to check which TEAM you need to log into. You will need your TEAMS login.

Please email any completed work to me, or to ask questions about your work. I will check my email every day before and after school. Scroll down to the rainbow to have a look at some of the great home learning that I have received this week.

If you would like to read one of your books from home, you will need to check the ZPD. Click on the book finder link below, click student and then next and it should bring you to a page where you can check the ZPD of your book. Your ZPD is written in the front of your reading diary.

WELL-BEING.

In the last few weeks, our lives have changed a lot. We were in school with our friends and suddenly, we were all asked to stay at home. At the moment, there is a lot of worry around because of Covid 19.

Having some worry can be really good because it keeps us safe, but when we have lots of worry, it can make us feel bad and make it hard for us to manage our feelings. This is normal and you are not alone.

If you are feeling worried or scared, you may find it helpful to try some of the activities in the booklet below.
