Mascot Challenge

The Mascot Challenge

Team GB represents Great Britain and Northern Ireland at the Olympic Summer and Winter Games. Elite Para athletes chosen to represent Great Britain and Northern Ireland compete as Paralympics GB at the Paralympic Summer and Winter Games. Pride is the mascot of Team GB.  Paralympics GB doesn’t have a mascot yet!

Your challenge is to design a mascot for Paralympics GB

What makes Pride a good mascot for Team GB?

Pride has a mane in the Team GB colours: red, white and blue.
The symbol of Team GB is a lion, and it’s also a symbol associated with the UK.
Pride is a friendly, cuddly and welcoming lion!
Lions are brave – just like athletes!
A family of lions is called a pride, and Pride the lion also encourages us to be proud in Team GB.
