The Queen's Platinum Jubilee
We have been busy celebrating the Queen's Jubilee. We have learned lots of things about Queen Elizabeth and where she lives. We made models of Windsor Castle with the bricks and lego.
The children dressed in the colours of the Union Jack flag, made patterns using red, white and blue objects, and had a pretend Jubilee picnic.
We have made our own bunting at home to decorate the classroom.
The children drew pictures of the Queen using crayons and chalk.
We made our own jam sandwiches and had them for afternoon tea.
On Wednesday we finished our celebrations with a royal crown parade and a street party lunch with the rest of the school.
What a fantastic end to our term.
