This year both Year One and Foundation Stage Two will be starting a new scheme entitled
'Power Maths'.
This scheme provides a curriculum with more emphasis on the use of manipulatives and encourages further talk around the areas of reasoning and problem solving.
This term children will learn mainly about number, this is to provide a solid foundation for them to build on throughout the rest of the year.
