In English, we teach writing across a range of genres. We will also link writing tasks to our topic work in Geography, PSHE and Science.
This term, we will look at writing of the historical genre, narrative writing and explanation texts.
Grammar is taught as part of our daily English sessions.
Spellings are taught on a Monday, practised through the week and then tested on a Friday. Below you can find the spellings for Year 5 and 6 for this term.
