Watch and listen to The Princess and the Wizard story below.

The princess is having a birthday party at the beginning of the story.

Can you make an invitation for Princess Eliza’s party? Who do you think she would like to have at her party?

The Wizard and the Fairy Godmother use lots of rhyming words when they are casting their magic spells.

Can you use the Rhyming words sheet below and write down some of your own? They could be real or alien words.  

Talk to a grown-up about what kind of food you would like to eat at a party.

Can you write a list of the food using the phonics that you can hear in the words?

You could draw a picture to match your words too.

The Wizard turns Princess Eliza into something different each day. Can you remember what she turns into? Look at Magical Princess below to help you.

If you had a magic wand what would you like to change into for a day? Why?

Draw a picture of the changed you and write what you are.

Can you design and draw a party outfit for you to wear? You could draw a beautiful dress or some terrific trousers. You could even design some super socks! I wonder what socks a princess or a wizard would wear.
