This term in Maths we will be covering:
Unit 11 - Time
In this unit, children will learn to o'clock, half past, quarter to and past times. They will problem solve using the minutes in an hour and hours in a day.
Unit 12 - Problem Solving
In this unit, children will solve a range of problems by looking back at all the methods taught during the year and finding the most efficient methods.
Unit 13 - Position and direction
In this unit, children will use the language of position, movement, turns and direction. They will describe movement and turns and make patterns by turning shapes.
Unit 14 - Statistics
In this unit, children will learn to make and interpret tally charts, tables, block diagrams and pictograms. They will gather data to create their own and interpret them.
