We will learn about Life cycles of mammals, amphibians, insects and birds. We will learn about reproduction in plants and animals.
Geography
We will learn about what we mean by trade. We will think about what we trade and who we trade with. We will have a particular focus on Fair Trade.
Music
The children are working hard to create an epic farewell show: Cinderella Rockerfella
Computing
We will use the 2Design and Make software to learn about 2D modelling.
DT
We will explore different types of burgers and their nutrition facts and then design, make and evaluate their own burger.
PSHE/ SMSC
We will talk about how we can keep ourselves safe in the community as well, the children will have the RSE talks about growing up, puberty and reproduction. They will go on the Isle of Wight residental for a week. There are transition days for secondary schools.
French
The topic is At the Weekend. We will learn to say what they do at the weekend, at what times and their opinions of these activities.
