We hope you are all still keeping well and finding plenty of things to do at home.
Have a go at some of the activities on the timetable and keep your brain working hard!

Read through your spellings. Can you see the red word? |
Read through one of your reading books. Ask a grown up to ask you some questions about it. | Practise your spellings using look, cover, write, check. | Draw a picture from your reading book and write a sentence about it using your phonics. | Ask a grown up to test you on your spellings. Write them in your red book. |
Find 3 things from around your house and put them in size order. Which is the shortest? Which is the longest? Which is the tallest? |
Draw a picture of people who live in your house. Can you draw them in size order? Can you say who is the shortest? Can you say who is the tallest? |

Use some building blocks (bricks, Lego, or anything that will stack) to build short and tall towers. How tall can you build a tower? Can you build a tower that is taller than you? |
Gather some of your toys (teddies, dolls, superheroes). Can you line them up from shortest to tallest? Draw a picture of them in your red book.

Use the 'I Spy' picture below to play the game. Think carefully about the sounds at the beginning of the word. |
What have you eaten today? Draw a picure of your plate and label what is on it. Tell someone what is healthy and not so healthy to eat.

Choose 2 or 3 of the 'Short Sentences' from the link below. Ask someone to keep reading them out loud to you. Listen carefully to the sounds that you can hear and have a go at writing them down. This is like 'Hold a Sentence' that we do in phonics.

Choose one of the fun exercise activities from the links on our class page to do. Talk to someone about what our bodies need to keep healthy. |
Draw a picture of you in your red book. (Make sure you don't draw a meatball! ) Draw some things and write words that your body needs to keep healthy - washing hands, glass of water, food, walking, sleep for example.
