Maths

In Year 3 the children will learn to count in 10's, 100's and 50's. The children will represent numbers to 1000. They will learn to find 1, 10 or 100 more or less than a given number. They will learn to recognise roman numerals. The children will then move onto to the topic of addition and subtraction.

 

In Year 4 the children will learn to count in 10's, 100's, 50's, 1000's and 25's. They will use a number line to 1000 and represent numbers to 10,000. The children will compare and order four-digit numbers. They will learn to round numbers, recognise negative numbers and roman numerals. The children will then move onto the topic of addition and subtraction.
