KS1 pupils will continue to receive a free school meal from September 2017. (FS2 to Year 2).
Pupils moving from Y2 up to Y3 (KS2) will need to pay for any meals ordered at a cost of £2 per pupil per day.
If your family are entitled to free school meals please contact the school office or visit www.derbyshire.gov.uk for information how to apply online. Please note that if your child chooses to bring sandwiches and you are entitled to free school meals it is important that you still apply as the school will receive extra income which is called pupil premium.
Unfortunately, due to funding restrictions and to enable our breakfast club to continue to provide an efficient service, from September 2017 the cost will need to increase slightly.
The cost of breakfast club will increase by 20p to £1.20 per child per day. If a family have more then one child then the cost will be £1 for each child per day.
We are sure you will agree that the service is excellent value for money and support us in the decision to increase the cost to enable the service to continue.
