Y6 Summer Term 2 Week 1

Welcome to your last term of Y6! We will try to keep you upbeat and get you ready for your transfer to your secondary school!

Read the World War 2 Information Sheet.

Print the map and colour the countries that were involved in the war – use google maps or an atlas to help you.

Look at the picture and answer the questions that go with it, write your answers in your book.

Write a character description for both of the two children (about half a page each.)

 

Make up the information from your imagination and create as many details to describe as you can.

Imagine the family have just heard that War is starting and they are fleeing their country.

Write a description to say what is happening, what they can see, where they are going and how they are feeling. Consider all three points of view.

Make a story picture map – at least 6 boxes for what happens to the family as they leave their country for safety.
