Pirate and mermaid day

 

We had a fantastic day when we dressed up as pirates and mermaids.

 

We made an enormous pirate ship with a special pirate flag and pretended to walk the plank!

The day was filled with all sorts of other activities such as:

making pirate hats and mermaid crowns

swimming like a mermaid

searching for treasure using a special treasure map

dancing to pirate and mermaid music

talking like a pirate

and eating some of the wonderful pirate cake that Mrs Harper made
