This term the children will focus on classification and will cover:
How humans can cause change to an environment and understand the impact of litter on animals.
They will be able to identify pond animals using a key and create a classification key for seashore animals
They will then move onto classifying vertebrates into groups using their key characteristics and be able to recognise characteristics of some of the main invertebrate groups.
