Making patterns

This week we have been learning about repeating patterns. We have used lots of different objects to make different patterns and used language such as 'What's next?' so the children can continue the pattern. Take a look at some of our wonderful work. 

 

We made a boy/girl pattern in the classroom. We went to the hall and used our bodies to make the pattern star jump/clap/star jump/clap. It was tricky but we managed it. We then noticed that at snack time the children were sat in the boy/girl pattern :)
