Week 4 27.04.2020

Hello Cheeky Chimps!

Welcome to week 4 of your home learning. I know it's not the same doing school work at home but I am glad that you are trying your best.

Thank you for your emails, photos and videos - they are amazing!

Please keep sending them to me smiley

Lots of love xx

Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday

Read through your spellings.

Can you spot the red word-it’s a tricky one?

Practise your spellings using look, cover, write, check.

EducationCity – My Homework

Activity 1 – Meet an alien

Activity 2 – Bongo Beat

Ask a grown up to test you on your spellings. Write them in your red book.

This week we are going to look at adding numbers up to 10. We have done a little bit of this at school.

Play the Addition to 10 game below.

Look at the Adding to 10 picture below.

How many flowers are there altogether?

What else can you see that you can add?

EducationCity – My Homework

Activity 1 – Eggs for Breakfast

Activity 2 – Bon-Go Go Go

Look at the 10 frames below. You could draw your own 10 frame on a piece of paper or use chalk on the floor outside, fold a piece of paper into 10, or use an egg box with 10 spaces.

Look at the Making 10 activity below. Can you work out the answers on your 10 frame and write out the number sentence?

Think about which people help you when you are at home.

Draw a picture of them. Write their names and a short sentence to say how they help you (Mum helps me …….).

I bet you have been very helpful while you have been at home.

What jobs have you done to help at home?

Write a list in your red book.

Think about which people help you when you are at school.

Draw a picture of them. Write their names and a short sentence to say how they help you (The dinner ladies help me …….).

Think about what job you would like to do when you are a grown up.

How would you help someone else?

Ask a grown up to read the Mascot Challenge at the top of the page and explain to you what it means. Can you design your own Mascot?
