SAT Results
At the end of Key Stage 1 the children are teacher assessed in Reading, Writing and Maths. This judgment is based on Teacher Assessment (TA) but SAT tests, taken in school, are used to support this judgement.
At the end of Key Stage 2 the children take national tests in the core subjects of English (Reading and Grammar, Punctuation & Spelling) and Maths. These tests are sat in May and are marked externally. The attainment for writing is based upon Teacher Assessment (TA).
