English

This term in English, we’re diving into the scrumdiddlyumptious world of Roald Dahl and reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! We’ll be meeting all the amazing characters like Charlie, Willy Wonka, and those cheeky Oompa-Loompas—and finding out what makes them so special.

But that’s just the start! We’re going to become real journalists and write our own newspaper reports about exciting events from the story. That means we’ll be learning how to use speech marks for quotes, write catchy headlines, and include all the important details, so our reports sound just like the ones in real newspapers.

And then comes the sweetest part… we’ll design and advertise our very own chocolate bars! We’ll use persuasive language, powerful adjectives, and even slogans to make everyone want to buy our creations. Who knows—we might invent the next Wonka bar!

It’s going to be a term full of creativity, imagination, and chocolatey fun. We can’t wait to show you what we make!
