In Maths, we use Power Maths in Year 4.
PLEASE NOTE - THE MULTIPLICATION CHECK IS THE FIRST AND SECOND WEEK BACK THIS TERM. PLEASE PRACTISE ALL TABLES UP TO 12 TIMES EACH NUMBER WITH YOUR CHILD. THANK YOU. MRS ANDERSON. :-)
As Mathematicians, this term we will finish our work on money and then move onto learning about time, angles and 2D shapes, statistics and position and direction.
We will work on Times table Olympics in school each week. It is essential that your child has quick recall of these tables facts, as they underpin so much of the work that we do in Maths. Year 4 children have a Times Tables Check in the Summer that we work towards. The children will be able to log onto Times Table Rockstars and practise at home. There is a link below.
We will also be running a Times Table club for the children from this term. Please check your emails for details.
