In English, we teach writing across a range of genres. We also link writing tasks to our topic work in Geography, History, PSHE and Science. 

This term we will look at different writing - we will look at the Talk for writing unit on Flying Horses, the short film  - Partly cloudy. We will also link our writing to our Geography work on Trade and make books.

Grammar is taught as part of our daily English lessons.

Spellings are taught on a Monday, practised throughout the week and then tested on a Friday.
