Maths
We’re continuing our journey with Power Maths, and it’s going to be full of number fun!
This term in Maths, we are getting ready to dive into the exciting world of fractions and mass! We can’t wait to explore how fractions help us understand parts of a whole, like sharing food equally or spotting patterns.
We’re also looking forward to learning all about mass. We’ll be using scales to measure objects around the classroom, reading grams and kilograms, and making clever estimates before we test them out.
Times Tables
By the end of Year 3 children are expected to know their 2, 3, 4, 5, 8 and 10 times tables. During school, these times tables will be practised daily. Extra practice at home is advised.
