Summer Term Two

This term in English Year Two will continue to have lessons focussed on key punctuation and grammar for Year Two e.g. exclamation marks,  questions marks, suffixes and prefixes.

They will also be completing the SATs and will have preparation for the reading paper by completing additional comprehension tasks.

They will also be completing non-fiction writing by looking at information texts and alphabetical order.

The Year One children will be learning how to use question marks and exclamation marks. They will also look at using the prefix un and the punctuation needed to form sentences accurately. 

We will also continue to learn how to form letters using a lead-in for pre-cursive handwriting.
